Perfect for couples and families. Completely independent apartment with private access, positioned between the hills and the sea. Ideal for choosing how to spend the day. The entire building, dated to the end of 1600, is in the heart of the historic center of the village of Ceraso, immersed in the beauty of Cilento. Wood, stone and copper are the elements that characterize the structure of the house and part of the tiles on the roofs are the original ones. The apartment retains the charm of old houses, with original exposed beams and vintage details. It has a private and independent entrance and consists of: -Large and bright living area with 2-seater sofa bed. -Complete kitchen, equipped with everything you need (utensils, crockery, pantry with basic necessities, welcome set and fridge-free). -A double bedroom with welcome set with hygiene and personal care products. -A bathroom equipped with everything you need and complimentary toiletries. -To complete a delightful panoramic terrace "one step away from heaven" and close to the ancient roofs of the medieval church.
I was born here. In Ceraso, in the Cilento. My childhood, my memories, my roots are preserved here, with dad Antonio and mom Costanza. At 18 I left, like many others. Naples, University, Degree. And in Naples I met Vincenzo, my husband, with whom I had Chiara and Luca. I love this land, an ancient land, hard and simple, all substance and without dreams. With its light&shade, with its waters, its sea, with its secular olive trees and its vineyards. And so I decided. I decided for Casa Marina. I decided because I know that in such a small reality it is much easier to stop .... it is much easier to listen, to observe. Listen to the nights. Observe the sky, starry, unique. Listen to the noises, definitely different and probably better. "Blessed be the moments, the millimeters, and the shadows of small things" Welcome to Cilento.
On foot, through characteristic and ancient alleys, you arrive at the center of the village where you can find: food, bar-tobacconist, pub, newsagent-service center, post office, pharmacy. About 20-30 minutes from the major beaches of Cilento: Ascea, Casalvelino, Palinuro, Camerota, and the wonderful Cilento Park. The inland area is also definitely worth a visit, rich in villages and characteristic places.
