Property info

The name Mustiola comes from latin “musteus” (“grape must”), meaning “sweet like grape must”. Widespread in the late Middle Ages, the name Mustiola belongs to a remote aunt. Casa Mustiola is located close to Montalcino’s Fortress, two steps from the main street, however the house location is very silent, quiet and panoramic. Casa Mustiola is surrounded only by typical streets of Montalcino, which the most important is “via delle Caserme”. The northern wall of the building is so-called “a scarpa”, considered very ancient, consists of a sloping wall at the base of a walled enclosure or a tower, for defensive use as well as strengthening the foundations. The receptive structure features three rooms at the first floor and another room in the lower floor. Guests have access to a common scenic outdoor space with tables and chairs.
