'Casa Rubbo' is located just a few kilometers from Alba, on the ridge of the hill that separates the Langhe of Barolo from those of Barbaresco. From here, you can enjoy a truly unique view of the vineyards, villages, and mountains in the distance. The house, recently renovated, is now over a century old and overlooks the courtyard where my family still lives today. The exterior of the house features classic red Piedmontese bricks, while the interiors are modern, yet retain a classic touch. The garden, with its old water well, is the perfect little oasis to enjoy the stunning landscape. Here, you can let yourself be enchanted by the Langhe, immersed in a rural and family atmosphere, with the utmost tranquility. The "Monviso" Apartment The apartment takes its name from the highest mountain in Piedmont, which is clearly visible on the horizon on clear days. With great attention to sustainability, the house is powered by solar panels. Additionally, most of the dishes, linens, and decorations come from family heirlooms, vintage items, or materials we already owned, trying to limit the purchase of new or disposable products as much as possible. Equipped with every comfort (air conditioning, underfloor heating, a fully equipped kitchen with basic utensils, a coffee machine, smart TV, WiFi, etc.), "Monviso" will win you over during your stay—you won’t want to leave!

My family has lived on these hills for generations. We have renovated the old house of my great-grandparents, which will now host you. We are sure you will fall in love with our hills! 'Casa Rubbo' is 100% family-run in every aspect. From the renovation to the furnishings, cleaning, and managing bookings, everything has been done with as much family involvement as possible. Alessandro, Marco, and Mariella are dedicated to the daily care of the house and its guests. Alessandro Son of Marco and Mariella, I studied Tourism and have gained experience in the hospitality industry, where I still work today, in Turin. With the help of my parents, we opened 'Casa Rubbo' in 2024, and I hope to fully dedicate myself to this project soon. I personally manage the bookings and administrative tasks. A passionate cyclist, I am also a cycling tour guide. Marco & Mariella As the parents, we are mainly the ones who welcome guests. Living in the same courtyard, we are always available to give you advice about the area, recommend restaurants to try, or wineries and wines to taste. We take care of the cleaning, and the upkeep of the house and garden.

'Casa Rubbo' is located in the tiny hamlet of Madonna di Como. Made up mainly of scattered farmhouses, the church, which forms its center, is just a few hundred meters away. Alba, the main city of the Langhe, is 4.5 km away, along the road that passes by the house.
