Casa Vacanze Bicchi is the perfect retreat in the heart of Maremma ideal for lovers of tranquillity and nature, surrounded by olive groves, meadows and the typical Mediterranean scrub, but only km away from the Gulf of Follonica. Casa Vacanze Bicchi is a complex of 11 apartments, located in three different buildings but close to each other. The apartments are well furnished and equipped with all comforts and private gardens with barbecue. Please note that the apts have ceilings fans. Air conditioning is upon request and chargeable. The Holiday House disposes of a solarium and a large panoramic swimming pool (6×15 meters, max. height of 1.4 meters) with a smaller children’s pool (2.5×4 meters, max height 60 cm). The swimming pool boasts a stunning view of the medieval hilltop village of Scarlino (4 km). Younger guests can have fun in the playground or enjoy a game of table football or table tennis. For book lovers, nothing better than a good book in the shadow of a secular cork tree. News 2024 bike shelter.

Neighborhood info

The area enjoys a very mild climate typical of the seaside resorts. Within 6/8 km, you can find the tourist port of Puntone di Scarlino and the beautiful bays of Cala Martina and Cala Violina (a selected beach among the ten most beautiful ones in Italy) reachable on foot or by bikes through a path in the wood. The territory of Scarlino is ideal for lovers of trekking and mountain bike. In fact, ‘Le Bandite di Scarlino’ nature reserve, a large woody area overlooking the sea and characterized by the Mediterranean maquis, offers cycling and running paths with breathtaking landscapes. You can easily get to Castiglione della Pescaia, Punta Ala and Follonica, seaside resorts known for their shallow sea depths, their wide sandy beaches and their beautiful pine-woods that make the holiday particularly suitable for families with children.
