We fell in love with Le Marche on our first visit and have never tired of the region. We live permanently on site and are always available to advise on places to visit, lesser known beaches and great restaurants. Every week in the summer we host our celebrated complimentary pizza party, we provide the ingredients and you get to create your pizza and cook it in a traditional wood oven. We believe however that while you are here your apartment is your home, with all the space that you need you are free to chose how private or social you want to be.

From the moment we arrived at Casal dei Fichi, we were impressed by the fantastic view and the warm, authentic, and stylish Italian atmosphere of Casal dei Fichi and its beautiful garden with lovely swimming pool! The previous owners, Bob and Ian, transformed a stately, large farmhouse into a beautiful retreat with a serene atmosphere and a remarkably green and sustainable design. Casal dei Fichi is a wonderful place to relax on a lounger with a good book by the large 15 x 5 meter pool. The view from the pool is simply fantastic. The rolling hills with their various colors, the villages that you see—it's a unique panorama with stunning vistas! But it's also an ideal location for exploring the beautiful region of Le Marche. Le Marche is sometimes called "The Second or Other Tuscany," but we actually think it's even more beautiful than Tuscany! :) You're 27 km from the Adriatic Coast and only 37 km from the Monti Sibillini, part of the Apennine Mountains. Skiing is possible there in winter! All six comfortable and charming apartments are spacious, 50-60m², and feature a beautiful bedroom, a fully equipped kitchen, a dining table, and a spacious sitting area. The sitting area has a flat-screen TV and two sofas, one of which is a sofa bed. Guests can pick organic, pesticide-free vegetables from the vegetable garden and unsprayed fruit from the fruit trees. We share the fresh chicken eggs with our guests. Casal dei Fichi is focused on providing the greenest and most sustainable accommodations possible. We strive to minimize our and our guests' ecological footprint. Among other things, we have solar panels, two charging stations for electric cars, and we separate our waste. Marche is every bit as beautiful as its more popular neighbours Tuscany and Umbria but without the tourists and inflated prices that accompany them. Beaches range from the dramatic coves at the foot of the cliffs along the Conero national park to family friendly lidos with long wide sandy beaches and warm shallow sea - like Porto san Giorgio. The dramatic Sibillini mountains form the western border and are perfect for walking or just experiencing the beauty of the wild flowers at Castellucio. Sitting between the two Casal dei Fichi is surrounded by medieval hilltop towns and sits just outside one of them. Each is a delight to explore for shops, excellent regional restaurants and history. Join the locals in these towns in the annual festivals celebrating their history, culture or produce, always with entertainment and real street food and local wines. Visit nearby vineyards and discover some excellent wines and stock up on prices you won't believe. Fascinating cities like Macerata and Fermo are also close as well as Ascoli Piceno, Loreto and Urbino. Less than an hour from Ancona airport, Pescara, Perugia, Bologna and Rome are all easily accessed.
