“Da Ersilia” is located in a rustic courtyard where you can park if you wish. The area is quiet; there are very few cars passing by on the street behind. “Da Ersilia” is equipped with air conditioning, although the area is not stuffy. The bathroom has a shower. You will find a washing machine, of course, a fridge, smart TV, kettle, coffee maker and toaster, microwave oven and of course free WI-FI. There are four beds and small pets are allowed. Outside you can enjoy a good coffee or smoke a cigarette at a small table where one of my cats will almost certainly peek out. The bells of the nearby church of San Nicola will mark but not disturb your stay.

I, Vittoria, will be happy to help you with any problem as I live in the same courtyard. I speak English and French and know some Spanish… don’t expect a native speaker! I love nature and animals. I can recommend quiet walks and show you a source of water that comes from the mountain (Colletta spring). I’m waiting for you… a small gift will be waiting for you! I forgot to mention that it’s called “Da Ersilia” in honor of my grandmother Ersilia who lived in this vacation home. On these mountains, bordering Switzerland, she saved the lives of many Jews who would have found death here in Italy. Forget the stress of the city and treat yourself to some relaxation without thinking about the time.

“Da Ersilia” is a vacation home where you can enjoy a few days of well-deserved relaxation! It is located above Cernobbio in a small village called Casnedo. In front of you, you have an enchanting lake view, behind you mountains and trails where you can enjoy pleasant walks immersed in lush nature. There are many possibilities for excursions on foot, by car or by boat. Cernobbio is fifteen minutes from the city of Como, where you can also take the train to visit Milan. The splendid view of Villa d’Este can surprise you with wonderful fireworks. From Cernobbio, reachable on foot in about ten minutes, you can take a boat and visit Lake Como, which will amaze you with ancient villas and lush gardens open to the public (Villa Carlotta, Villa Melzi, Villa Monastero etc…). The things to do and see are too many to be summarized in a few lines. In Laglio or even in Cernobbio, where it is usual to come by bike, you may have a chance to meet George Clooney. Bars and pubs can brighten up your evenings.
