The Dimora dell’Erbe is a historic residence overlooking the Montepulciano corso. The property features two apartments: the “Rooftop Apartment”, on the top floor, and the “Elicriso Superior Apartment”, on the piano nobile — conveniently located on the ground floor for easy luggage access. “Rooftop Apartment”: This apartment offers two independent double bedrooms, each with a private en-suite bathroom with shower, and a charming, light-filled living area complete with a cozy seating area and a fully equipped kitchenette. The Rooftop Apartment has exclusive access to beautiful terraces overlooking the rooftops of Montepulciano. Precious terracotta floors and exposed wooden beams make this the perfect setting for an unforgettable stay. “Elicriso Superior Apartment”: This apartment also features two independent double bedrooms, each with a private en-suite bathroom with shower, along with a large, bright, and elegant kitchen-living area. The Elicriso Superior Apartment opens onto a lovely, romantic balcony overlooking the valley. It offers a rare opportunity to experience true Tuscan elegance, with exquisite graniglia floors, arched Renaissance windows, and soaring stucco ceilings — all hallmarks of a noble palace. We are two friends, Mascia and Francesca, with passion for Tuscany, good food and art. We have restored with great joy and care this historic home in the center of Montepulciano to share it with travelers all over the world. Located in the middle of the main course is the perfect choice for those who want to discover the splendid Renaissance architecture of the Nobiliari Palaces, Piazza Grande with the magnificent Cathedral, the Palazzo Comunale and visit one of the historic cellars. Montepulciano is also the ideal starting point for visits and excursions to the nearby towns of Pienza, Montalcino, Siena, Arezzo and Perugia and to discover delicious places like Monticchiello and its poor theater , or Bagno Vignoni, the only village in the world with its central square occupied by an ancient spa bath.
