The building has just been renovated. Each room has its own private terrace with sweeping views of the sea, the castle and the green hills from which the village is lulled.  Each room has a bathroom with pieces of antique furniture. We have restored and revised interior doors, decorative gates and planters made entirely by hand in wrought iron by a local artist who now unfortunately is no longer with us. Respecting and promoting the historical value that every house in this village has is very important. It keeps alive the history, the spirit and the tradition of the men who lived it before us ... It makes us feel even closer to our loved ones who have entrusted it to us. "Tradition is the preservation of fire, not worship of ash" (Gustav Mahler, musician). At about 150 meters from the property there are our private parking and a barbecue garden for relaxing or reading breaks in the shade of the olive trees. Below the parking lot we have a box that we provide for the shelter of the bicycles of the lovers of cycling.

We are Giampaolo and Elisabetta, our children are Miriana and Simone. Elisabetta's family is a native of Cervo and has always lived in the house bordering the structure. In 2017 we purchased and started the renovation work. The idea was to undertake a new life experience descending into the tourist field and offering hospitality. There is nothing more beautiful than promoting and sharing the beauty of this country. The inspiration of the name "Eco del mare" is given by the sound of the waves that recline every day, in the beautiful cliff of Porteghetto, in front of our house. .... The music of the sea ends on the shore or in the heart of the man who listens? In stag, his notes arrive each day with a different score and, rising to his carruggi, become a sweet echo of the sea.

In the castle opposite the building is the Ethnographic Museum and Tourist Information Office. A few steps away is the renowned restaurant S. Giorgio and its dependency S. Giorgino, where you can enjoy a refined Ligurian cuisine; Il Sole e la Luna, the art workshop of Pamela and the artistic ceramics of Mariella Balestra. The Ariel bar is just around the corner from our house, with its beautiful garden on the terrace with a view. Just outside the Borgo gate we find a shop selling typical products and oil at km 0 and the restaurant bar locanda Bellavista, which dominates over the entrance to the town. Just below the church of S Giovanni Battista you will find the Serafino restaurant, ice cream parlor, bar, restaurant. The service is in a wonderful terrace. At the back of the village the Veggia Baracca and Bistrot restaurants. Directly overlooking the sea, in a unique position next to one of the most beautiful beaches of Liguria, the Marina del Re, we find the restaurant Il Porteghetto. All offer breathtaking views of the sea and serve typical local dishes based on fish or not. Near the Town Hall you can find the Steria Paolo shop with local products.
