Fontana16 Rooms is the ambitious project of two young men, Alberto and Mauro, who have traveled the world and brought with them a wealth of inspirations made up of colors, objects, scents, experiences and hospitality. From these premises, Fontana16 Rooms was born, featuring 5 rooms, a common space, and a large terrace in the heart of Milan within a 1920s building. A long corridor runs alongside several rooms, which have previously served as residences, offices, and medical studios. In designing the new spaces, it was decided that the areas should maintain the same initial layout and that the repurposing should convey the various passages of time. The missing parts of the floor and the old systems become scars, treated with color inserts that boldly flow from the corridor into the rooms. The corridor is characterized by the design tension between fashion, colorful neon lights, and the expressiveness of minimalism. The 5 rooms, each in different colors, sometimes embody deep tones, while at other times exhibit soft and delicate shades, aiming to accentuate an eclectic and dynamic personality, reflecting the industrious spirit of Milan. The furnishings and brass details, custom-designed and crafted by local artisans, define the sophisticated relationship between form and function. The sage-colored common room leads to the lush green outdoor terrace and serves as a filter of decompression between the sound-dampening, box-like corridor and the opening toward the city. The attention to detail and the search for objects from around the world highlight Alberto and Mauro's commitment to a genuine culture of hospitality, which finds its highest expression in Fontana16 Rooms.

Guests have access to a common area that features an interesting selection of books and objects from a bygone era. Through this common area, you can enter a bright terrace adorned with a wide variety of plants and a small, intriguing greenhouse. THE ROOMS Our establishment stands out for its elegance and comfort. Our 5 rooms, ideal for light travelers, are equipped with private bathrooms featuring hairdryers and Ortigia body care products. The custom furnishings provide a cozy and refined environment for your stay in the city, and each space is equipped with air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, smart TVs, Nespresso machines, kettles, and minibars. To ensure a good night's sleep, in addition to the interior-facing orientation of all the rooms, the beds and mattresses are produced by Simmons, a renowned company known for quality sleep products. All our beds are Standard Italian Double (160 cm x 200 cm). As a small establishment with only five rooms, we do not have a 24-hour reception, and all check-ins are by appointment only.
