Via Regina Margherita is the authentic heart of Castelsardo: you’re in the historic centre, among stone alleys, stairways and pastel-coloured houses climbing up toward the Castle. Here everything is within walking distance: artisan shops, small cafés and traditional restaurants alternate with panoramic sea views, in that medieval-village atmosphere where every corner looks like a postcard. Just a few minutes away you’ll find the town’s landmarks: the Doria Castle and the Cathedral of Sant’Antonio Abate, perfect for a walk through history and breathtaking viewpoints. And when you feel like heading down to the sea, Castelsardo Marina and La Vignaccia Beach are reachable with about a 15-minute walk: the way down is pleasant, the way back has a bit of an uphill climb—but that’s part of the village’s charm. It’s the ideal area if you’re looking for real local life, atmosphere and convenience: the easiest parking is usually outside the old town, but once you arrive you’ll forget the car and enjoy Castelsardo at a slower pace, between sunsets, the scents of local cuisine and little streets full of history.
