Property info

4 Gatti is the guesthouse I opened restoring the old house of my grandparents. Built in 1920 it’s a 3 floor villa surrounded by a garden, located in one of the most beautiful residential areas in Bologna, via Audinot, quiet and green, very close to the center. The house is big, the rooms are located at the first and second floor, furnished with the restored original forniture of the house with a mix of newer and more practical furniture. Every room has air conditioning, a heat pump and private bathroom, some inside the room and some others just outside. At the ground floor there are the common areas, the kitchen, the dining room, and a big living room with pianoforte, tv, books, games and a good audio system with vinyls. During the good season it's possible to eat in the garden under the kaki tree, have a nap in the hammock or have a table tennis match. The kitchen is available if you want to warm up something to eat or drink and have to be kept tidy. Breakfast is served there between 8 and 10am. Please Note!!! Rooms are located at the first and second floor WITHOUT ELEVATOR. There's a SELF CHECK-IN, you'll collect the keys from a lockbox. Our staff is on the premises only in the morning between 8am and 11am. We recently renovated and from March 2024 all rooms have private bathrooms, air conditioning and a photovoltaic system to bring you cleaner energy. The name 4 Gatti means "four cats" from the saying "we are 4 cats" meaning we are a small group of people. Sadly you'll not find cats in the house, but sometimes some wonders around in the garden.

Neighborhood info

Our street is a beautiful small tree-lined street full of old villas in liberty style with gardens. Birds are cirping and the city traffic seems far. We are located in the suburb of porta saragozza, quiet and close to the center, just 15 minutes of walk, comfortably reachable from the train station with bus 33.
