Il Cardo Resort is a 15th-century farmhouse in the Tuscan countryside, 1.2 mi outside the medieval village of Anghiari. It offers luxury rooms with wood-beamed ceilings and exposed stone walls. An italian breakfast including homemade cakes is served each morning in the room. Savory items are available upon request. Rooms have elegant furniture and terracotta floors. They all offer beautiful countryside views and some have a small balcony. Il Cardo offers an outdoor pool with views of the countryside. Free parking and free WiFi are provided. The B&B is 1640 feet from the nearest bus stop and 6.2 mi from San Sepolcro Train Station for local trains. Arezzo is 30 minutes' drive away.

Family run business. We have opened in 2006 and enjoyed since them welcoming guests from all around teh world. We speak EN, FR, IT and some DE.

Our stonehouse surrounded by oaks and sunflowers is not far from the fascinating medieval village of Anghiari, voted as one of the one hundred most beautiful Italian villages. Anghiari is often a chosen location by filmmakers for its beauty.

Getting around is easy from our B&B! Walking distance from Anghiari; day trip to Florence, Siena, Perugia, Chianti, Assisi, Gubbio, Sansepolcro and the art of Piero della Francesca, Michelangelo and Giotto. Great natural parks and lakes in the valley
