In the heart of Belmonte Calabro, Il Flauto Magico is nestled within an ancient building with more than 500 years of history. It is believed that the structure was once part of the village’s old defensive walls—perhaps even a tower within the original fortifications. Over the centuries, a combination of alterations and abandonment had erased much of its original form, but recent restoration work has brought to light several architectural traces of the old tower, now carefully preserved and visible within the property. Our goal is to offer a travel experience that goes beyond the typical seaside holiday. Belmonte is one of the most interesting and well-preserved historic centers of the Lower Tyrrhenian coast in the Cosenza area.
