An easy drive from Como makes this wonderful lake front retreat great for a get-away, family holiday or a great base to explore Lake Como. Comfortably sleeps six with two bedrooms and two bathrooms and a wonderful dining terrace offering the ideal excuse for enjoying relaxed summertime BBQs and memorable alfresco meals in the evenings. Guests can also enjoy an outdoor heated whirlpool (on request, paying a surcharge of one hundred euros per stay). Through the front door into a stylish living room with big leather sofa providing enough space for the whole family, tv sat and window doors with endless views on the lake and the beautiful north Italian mountains. On to the left a corridor leads to the master bedroom another bedroom with bunk bed and another bed that turns into a double. Both rooms have window doors with wonderful lake view and air conditioning. Downstairs kitchen: oven, microwave, induction stove, dishwasher, huge fridge, marble island opens to dining room with table sitting six and passthru to larger dining sits 8 in great room with large stone fireplace, two sofas. Two bathrooms with shower. Highlight of the villa: a massive outdoor patio with full kitchen BBQ and oven pizza. To notice: The villa has air conditioning in both bedrooms. A car is necessary to get around. The villa is located on the main road and has a private parking space inside the gate.

I'm originally from the UK, but I've been living in Italy for many years now. I studied languages at university and I can speak German and French quite well. After working for more that 10 years in a real estate at Lake Como and managing holiday rentals all over the lake, I started working alone on the Airbnb platform in January 2018, helping out some property owners who've become my friends over the years. Carate Urio is a pretty little lakeside beautiful, so relaxing and so inspiring....go for a wander and find out your self..a place where stress doesn't exist! A car is recommended and is the best way to get around! Distances: Nearest supermarket: 1km (2mins drive). Shopping centre: 10km (10 mins drive). Cernobbio: 4,5 km (7 mins drive). George Clooney's villa in Laglio: 6km (9 mins drive). Moltrasio lake promenade (beach, boat rental, kayak and wakeboard rental): 1,5km (25mins on foot) . Beach in Carate Urio: 850 m (15 mins on foot).
