The shared outdoor patio, adorned with lush green plants, is a cool oasis to enjoy an aperitivo in the shade or sip a glass of local wine while getting lost in a good book. By staying here you aren't just visiting a village, you are becoming part of it, stepping into the rhythm of a traditional Tuscan village. Hello I'm Laura, I started this business 7 years ago as a private host and today I'm a professional host who has made hospitality his job. Always a lover of travel, animals and nature, I have traveled a lot in many parts of the world. From my experiences I have drawn inspiration to offer my guests what I would have liked to find in my travels: comfort, care, attention to detail and above all the true flavor of a place and its people, far from the stereotypes of a certain type of tourism. The thing I love most about this job is meeting new people and helping them discover the beauties and culture of my region of which I am very proud.
The apartment is located in the heart of Lajatico, a village located on the hills of the province of Pisa. Best known for hosting the famous Teatro del Silenzio where Andrea Bocelli holds one of the most internationally renowned musical events every year. But Lajatico is also art, with the free exhibition Artinsolite which every year from 30 June to 30 September exhibits the works of local and international artists around the village. Its position in the center of the province of Pisa makes it the perfect base from which to discover cities such as Volterra, San Gimignano, Florence, Siena, Lucca and Pisa. The sea is only 50 minutes away. Sports and nature lovers can venture into trekking, bike rides or horseback riding. Some of the best restaurants, bars and ice cream parlors are less than a minute's walk from the apartment. In the evening, the town square comes alive with cultural and musical events.
