At the gates of Sassoferrato there is the archaeological site of the ancient Sentinum where in 295 BC, the famous battle of the Nations took place which saw the decisive victory of the Romans against the armies of the Gauls, Senones and Samnites. A territory rich in history, in tourist attractions such as the Umbrian / Marchigiano Apennines which, with its Monte Catria, welcomes various skiers from all over the region to its ski resort. Trekking excursions, MTB and eBIKE tours but above all natural beauties such as the famous Frasassi Caves, visited from all over the world.
