This comfortable one-bedroom apartment is located on the ground floor of a typical 19th-century mountain house. The apartment was renovated in the 1990s, maintaining the original features of the building. Key highlights include the tranquility of the location, the large garden, and the outdoor terrace, perfect for dining in the summer while enjoying the stunning views of nature and the surrounding mountains. Additionally, just a few steps away, you'll find the Ru Neuf, a nearly flat 20 km trail easily accessible by mountain bike. In the winter, the property is heated by a pellet stove.
La Maison del Ru is located in the Gran San Bernardo Valley, at about 1300 meters. It is located in the commune of Gignod, within walking distance of the Ru Neuf, the Via Francigena and numerous other walks. The property is surrounded by nature and enjoys good views of the main peaks of the Central Valley. In addition, it is only 10 km from the city of Aosta (where there is a cable car to the well-known ski resort of Pila) and about 40 km from Courmayeur (Mont Blanc) and 60 km from Breuil-Cervinia (Matterhorn). In the Gran San Bernardo Valley, about a 20-minute drive away, there is the Saint-Oyen snow park and the Crevacol ski area.
