Our property is an old traditional Tuscany farmhouse, completely renovated in the last year. The old farm La Tonnaia gave its name to the street where our house is located. We have 2 fully furnished apartments, especially the kitchen is equipped with all the necessary utensils to prepare any type of meal. The large apartment, on two floors, has a large table for 10 people. The bathrooms are comfortable and functional, and on the ground floor there is a shower and a bathtub. Each apartment has an outdoor area with tables and chairs, overlooking the garden and the forest. It is an ideal holiday home as a base for daily trips throughout Tuscany, but also for those who want a quiet place to relax whit friends or family, write, paint, compose music.

My name is Giulia and I have experience in this field having worked as a concierge in an international environment, so I will be there to help you make your holiday special and in solving any problems. Loving reading, I thought I wouldn’t miss books in multiple languages inside the house, where you can also find a well-stocked library. Obviously you will find various brochures updated about local products, places to visit, museums, adventure parks for adults and children, water parks.

Our location, just 10 minutes by car from the FI-PI-LI (which connects Florence, Pisa and Livorno), is ideal for getting around Tuscany: Pisa Airport (30 minutes), Florence (1 hour), San Gimignano (1 hour), Volterra (45 minutes), Lajatico (30 minutes), Castiglioncello (only 30 minutes, a lovely village by the sea). In case you have an electric car, 5 minutes walk from our house is the charging station. If you arrive by motorbike or bicycle, we have a covered parking. If you prefer the train, you can leave your car at Pontedera station (25 minutes), and in 40 minutes you can reach Florence, where you can visit the Uffizi Gallery, or Pisa in 20 minutes, where the Tower of Pisa is located. Nearby you can not miss a visit to the castle of Lari, a 10-minute walk, and the Pastificio Martelli at the foot of the castle. In Casciana Terme, just 10 minutes by car, there is the outdoor pool Acquaviva Athena, or the Terme di Casciana, spa facilities with outdoor swimming pool. For an aperitif we recommend the Liberty style bar of the Terme, overlooking the main square. The Carlotta Ranch offers horse riding for beginners and experts. At the end of May/beginning of June the Cherry Festival is held in Lari, while in July the Collinarea Theatre Festival.
