Camping Casa Tartufo is run with passion by the Dutch Stroo family, who realised their dream in 2013 by settling in the still largely undiscovered Le Marche. Their personal involvement and enthusiasm for the region make every stay special. Guests are welcomed not just as customers, but as visitors to their home. The family personally organises guided tours of the historic sulphur mines on the estate, wine tastings at a local winery, guided walks and disco swimming on Friday evenings. Thanks to their deep knowledge of the region, they are happy to help guests plan day trips to the coast, historic towns and nature parks in the surrounding area.

Mini campsite Casa Tartufo is nestled in the rolling hills of the Le Marche region in Italy, surrounded by vineyards, olive groves and truffle grounds. The Dutch Stroo family has lived here since 2013 and puts their heart and soul into making every stay a personal and unforgettable experience. The campsite is small-scale and characterful, with peace, nature and personal contact at its core. Guests stay in comfortable Wood Nature Lodges set on spacious, green pitches with plenty of privacy and beautiful views over the hills. Each lodge comes with an espresso machine, a hammock and comfortable beds; private facilities can be booked as an add-on. The panoramic swimming pool with a separate children's pool is a wonderful place to unwind. The campsite regularly organises pizza evenings from an authentic wood-fired oven and Italian-style barbecue evenings. There is a bread roll service, a mini market, free wifi, a trampoline and table football.

Camping Casa Tartufo is located near the ancient town of Sassoferrato, in the heart of Le Marche — a region full of history, nature and authenticity that has largely escaped mass tourism. The rolling hills, vineyards and olive groves offer breathtaking views, and there are plenty of opportunities for hiking, cycling and horse riding. The beaches of the Adriatic coast are around 32 km away. The historic coastal towns in the area are known for their beaches, lively promenades and rich history. Further afield lie the largest stalactite caves in Europe, the impressive Renaissance city of Urbino, and lively seaside resorts. The region boasts more than 100 castles, dozens of historic theatres and thousands of churches — an inexhaustible source of culture and discovery.
