Liguria is a land of mountains that meet the sea, pastel-colored houses and the scent of olive trees and salt. In this land was born MareNostrum, our oasis of peace from which you can relax, seeing the horizon and staring to discover the Paradise gulf.
I grew up in this small village until I was 19, breathing sea air, relaxing with the green trees and watching the fishermen's lights on the horizon at night. Now, I would like to share this fortune with you, to make you feel a bit at home and appreciate what is wonderful this land has to offer.
To reach the apartment from the driveway you need to go up a staircase of around 70 steps. For this reason I do not recommend it to those who unfortunately have mobility problems. Otherwise the view from home will certainly repay the effort! Pieve Ligure is reachable by any type of transport. The closest train station is Pontetto while the best served are Pieve Ligure and Bogliasco. From Genoa there is a bus that will take you right to the house. It's very comfortable and convenient. By car, coming from the west/north, the highway exit to take is Genova Nervi, while from the east/south it is recommended to exit at Recco. From Pieve you can set off to discover the most typical villages of the Paradise gulf such as Camogli and Portofino and taste delicacies such as focaccia with Recco cheese and Sori trofie with pesto. 5 TERRE are 1 hour and 15 minutes by car from home or 1 hour and half by train. You can also starting directly from the apartment for a panoramic excursions at Mount Santa Croce (about 2 hours by walk) or reach the sea in just 5 minutes by walk.
