We chose to open our minds and hearts, welcoming Guests from all over the world as one would welcome a family friend—actually, even better. We feel like Hospitable Citizens, inspired by the concept of Civil Hospitality, and that brings us deep fulfillment. We are Marco and Francesca, a united couple—both in life and now in this special mission: to educate ourselves and our daughters to the art of good living and the true meaning of hospitality, with a global spirit that fosters real and meaningful human connections. Win-win, as the Anglo-Saxons say. Marco is a diligent pater familias, with a keen eye for both budgets and design. Francesca is a protective yet upright mother, a meticulous musician, attentive to details and safety. And then there's Athena, our ever-watchful and omnipresent cat, who reminds us to live with instinct and gentleness. Every home we offer is an extension of who we are: warm, tidy, welcoming, respectful of your privacy, and designed to make you feel truly well. We don't care for showiness; we're deeply sober and believe in comfort and authentic beauty, often with the help of Mother Nature, the true queen of human wellbeing. To us, hosting is not an impersonal activity. It's a great responsibility, a gesture of trust, a concrete way of expressing love for the world.
