The property is located just 60 meters from the bus stop connecting Bari Karol Wojtyla International Airport to the city center. Just a short walk away is Corso Vittorio Emanuele II—one of Bari's main streets—and Via Sparano, the shopping street that connects the old town to the train station.

The property is located near the main attractions: Bari Vecchia (Old Town), the beating heart of Bari's traditions and culture, the Basilica of San Nicola, the Cathedral of San Sabino, the Norman-Swabian Castle, the Margherita Theater, the Petruzzelli Theater, the beautiful Lungomare (seafront promenade), and Pane e Pomodoro beach. A few steps away, there is a well-stocked supermarket, a delicatessen, a private parking lot, and several shops, while on the same block there is a bar and tobacconist. The street where my apartment is located is a historic artery in the center of Bari and is currently undergoing a project that will transform it by June 2026 into a modern, attractive, and green pedestrian area, ready to welcome guests daily in their free time with benches and planters. The spaces dedicated to walks, meetings, and outdoor activities will be increased. The ancient basalt paving stones discovered during excavations will be reused, with the assistance of an archaeologist. The introduction of green spaces will improve air quality and the comfort of those who use the area. The planting of two rows of tall trees will help reduce the heat island effect, ensuring a decrease in the average perceived temperature along the road and an increase in thermal comfort, especially during the summer months. For people with mobility disabilities, the elimination of differences in level between sidewalks and the roadway and the creation of a tactile path represent a fundamental improvement in accessibility. The restyling plan also includes strengthening the lighting system, installing video surveillance systems, and installing four public fountains.
