Nonna Giulina is located in the heart of Castagnole delle Lanze, in the Langhe-Monferrato, a UNESCO World Heritage wine region. The property has 6 rooms, each with a private bathroom, air conditioning, flat-screen TV and a desk; some with a terrace or balcony offering city views. In the garden you'll find an outdoor hot tub and sun terrace, perfect for unwinding after a day exploring the wineries of Barolo and Barbaresco. Check-in is self-service and available 24 hours a day via a smart access system, with a private entrance for full flexibility. Breakfast, served every morning, is made with local, homemade specialties and is one of the things our guests appreciate most. We're just a short walk from the historic town center.
We're Ettore and Carlo, and we run Nonna Giulina with real passion. We love welcoming guests from all over the world and helping them discover the authentic side of the Langhe: from the best spots for a Barolo tasting to the trattorias off the tourist track, we're always happy to share personal recommendations. Castagnole delle Lanze is located in the heart of the Langhe-Monferrato, a UNESCO World Heritage wine region, surrounded by some of Italy's most renowned vineyards. Barolo and Barbaresco are just a short drive away, a must for wine lovers, while Alba — famous for its white truffle and International Truffle Fair in autumn — is about 25 minutes away. The town has a charming historic center, with traditional Piedmontese restaurants and small wineries for local tastings. The area is also perfect for walking among vineyards and hills, or simply enjoying the slow pace of the Piedmontese countryside.
