North is a new and modern climate house with 3 different apartments. The house is situated to the south with a wonderful panoramic view and a common private garden with barbecue & garage and ski/bike depot under the house. On the groundfloor there are two connected apartments one to 8 people and another to 2-4 people. At 1. & 2. floor is the third apartment to 4-5 people. All apartments have numerous kitchen amenities, oven, dishwasher, microwave, washingmachine, TV/SAT, WI-FI. There is a cosy and relaxing sofa area, where everyone can sit. All decorated in a modern & pleasant way to make you feel at home. From the quiet street you go directly into the garage, skiroom and deposit for bikes & gear. A stairway brings you to the next floor, where the house and garden is situated. Here you will find info about the mountains & the local culture, books for adults & kids in different languages, games & DVDs for everyone. The garden and terraces, in summer, are nicely furnished with dining tables and chairs, deckchairs and some of my husband's woodworks, where you can enjoy the view of Val di Fassa and Sassolungo. With family or friends you are also welcome to use the common barbecue.
I am originally from Denmark, but I have been living for 24 years in these fantastic mountains: The Dolomites. I know very well the area and culture after many years here. I have been trekking, climbing, biking and skiing all over the Dolomites, so you're always welcome to ask me any kind of information about routes and places to visit! Me and my local husband, Lorenzo own and run Klimahouse North. We live with our son on-site. we are always here or nearby, if you need help or if you have questions;) We're looking forward hosting you at our place Klimahouse North, where we hope you will enjoy a marvellous holiday in the Dolomites.
The house is only 100 metres from the village centre, where you can find bars, restaurants, shops and a supermarket COOP. The house is neighbour to the church and a small hiking trek, that brings you directly to the mountains: Col Rodella, Val Duron or to a historical tiny mountain village Pian. Here the church is a vivid a central place for the local people with its 'Italian style' bell-ringing all day and night. There are only 650 metres to the Cable car Col Rodella from the house and 100 metres to catch the skibus or other busses at the central square. Our buildingground (where the house is now) once hosted the old liftstation to Col Rodella, that closed in 1985. On-site we keep many memories from that time, so our modern house has also a view back in time;) We wanted to integrate our new house as much as possible in the surroundings, so you have the feeling of integrity and Genius Loci, when you see the house between the village, landscape and mountains.
