Brighenti Palace Palazzo Brighenti is one of the most significant historic buildings in Pozzolengo, located in Piazza San Martino della Battaglia in the heart of the village, immersed in the morainic hills a stone's throw from Lake Garda, it is an 18th century mansion, the building preserves period frescoes, a courtyard and an internal garden surrounded by stone walls. He was a silent witness to the Italian Risorgimento, with the main event being the Battle of San Martino and Solferino in 1859, where important officers of both the Royal Franco-Piedmontese Savoy Army and the Austrian Army stayed there. Walking through the wooden door of Palazzo Brighenti means entering into the history that still lives within its walls.
