Mi chiamo Roberta e vivo a Sarnico, sul Lago d’Iseo. Ho scelto di occuparmi personalmente delle mie case vacanze dopo aver vissuto per un periodo in un B&B: lì ho capito quanto mi piaccia davvero il mondo dell’accoglienza. Stare a contatto con persone in vacanza è qualcosa di speciale. Sarnico is a small gem on Lake Iseo, on the southwestern edge where the lake merges with the Oglio River: the lakefront and historic center are easily accessible on foot. From here, you can combine relaxation with activity: scenic walks, cycling, and water sports on the lake. In summer, you can reach other towns on Lake Iseo by boat, all the way to Monte Isola. Just a few minutes away is Franciacorta, nestled among hills and vineyards: winery tours, tastings, and lunches among the vines. For nature lovers, the Torbiere del Sebino Nature Reserve is perfect for leisurely walks and birdwatching. Toward the north, the landscape becomes mountainous: the Camonica Valley is home to the famous rock carvings (a UNESCO site) and is ideal for trekking and cultural excursions. And if you're looking for art and cities, in about 30 minutes by car you can reach Bergamo (Città Alta and the UNESCO Venetian Walls) or Brescia, with museums, squares, and churches in the historic center.
