The B & B was given the name because Phenicusa dedicated island of Filicudi. Its original name Phenicusa, means rich in ferns. It's called Fossa delle Felci its extinct volcano, the top of which, at 774 meters, you can enjoy an incomparable breathtaking views of the other islands. The Aeolian archipelago consists of seven islands (Alicudi, Filicudi, Lipari, Panarea, Salina, Stromboli and Vulcano) arranged on a sea arch 90km along the north east coast of Sicily. The Aeolian Islands are all volcanic in origin and even today witness volcanic activity being the underwater hot springs and mud of great therapeutic effect. The oldest are Alicudi and Filicudi, which have about a million years old, the younger ones are active: Vulcano and Stromboli with about a hundred thousand years. The Aeolian Islands, represent the ancient Eolia, the mythical home of Aeolus the god of the winds, of Effesto the god of fire and the mythical Cyclops.

I am lover of the sea and every summer with my family spend the holidays in a boat, and in one of these holidays making the rounds of the Aeolian Islands, Filicudi I stopped and I fell in love with a wonderful island. From here comes the name of the B & B and my boat "Phenicusa Magic".

Milazzo is an Italian town of nearly 40,000 inhabitants of the metropolitan city of Messina in Sicily. The city is located between two gulfs, that of Milazzo in the east and the west of Patti, in a strategic place of the north-eastern Sicily. The city lies at the beginning of a long about 8 km (Capo Milazzo) peninsula in the Tyrrhenian Sea, to the north. To the west of Milazzo territory is the Riviera di Ponente (Bathing area), overlooking the Gulf of Patti (di Ponente Sea); east, the Gulf of Milazzo Port (Levantine Sea). Tourist destination and an ideal starting point for the Aeolian Islands. The B & B Phenicusa is located opposite the port of embarkation for the Aeolian Islands (Levantine Sea). Located downtown, in an area full of shops, bars, pizzerias, restaurants, and 2 steps from "Via Giacomo Medici" called "Il Salottino di Milazzo" and the "Lungomare Garibardi" where you can enjoy a walk before going to sleep,. A 5-minute walk you can arrive in the seaside (Riviera di Ponente), a pebble beach, kilometers long, with some beach, but mostly free beach.
