My name is Karoline Fuchs and I am mother from three children. My biggest passion is to cook for my family and my guests, but I am a passionate dancer too. Consequents of these two hobbies are our “Pasta evenings” when I cook typical dishes for my guests and start after with a dancing party in the winter garden. My aim is to make it possible that our guests spend great holydays without stress and unfulfilled request.

The town Laces is next to a big river called Etsch, that flow into the Adria near Venice. The mountains in the south are the “Ortler-Alps” with the highest mountain in South Tirol. In the north there are the “Ötztaler-Alps”. A part of the commune is located in the national park “Stilfserjoch”, where hight mountains meets wonderful naturally places and a lots of animals and special plants. The highest mountain here in town is the “Hasenohr” with 3257 meters altitude with a glacier in his top. The location in the middle of the alps with high mountains in all directions, have the consequence that the most rainclouds can’t arrive our region and so it is very dry compared with other places in the region. Laces and nearly all his little towns are located completely in the valley floor. Only a very little town, almost some farms, are higher in the mountains. Here the people live on 1740 m altitude and you can go to visit them with a ropeway.
