// THE VILLA: The villa is located at the top of the mountain village named Tissi in the municipality of Sassari. Tissi is located 4.5 kilometers south-southeast of the city of Sassari. In Tissi it is quiet and tranquil. The mountain village has an original charm, it invites you to hike through the vineyards. In Tissi you will hardly meet tourists - here live real Sardinians, probably there are 2,400 inhabitants. In clear weather, you can have a wide view and look up to Porto Torres and see the sea. The next larger village is the neighborhood Ossi. In Ossi you will find supermarkets, pharmacies, gas station, restaurants and bars. Also in Ossi you can experience Sardinian nights with locals. The largest city in northern Sardinia is Sassari. With around 127,533 inhabitants and a beautiful old town, Sassari offers you everything you need for your holiday in Sardinia: big supermarkets, shopping malls, pharmacies, a beautyful old town to walk around and a beautyful covered market. Sassari can be reached by car from the villa in about 7 minutes, by bus it takes about 20 minutes.
