The structure is a tipical Italian classic countryhouse, built more than 100 years ago and twice renewed (2008, 2022). The interior takes advantage of the generous dimensions by making use of large open spaces and comfortable bedrooms. These e old country houses were originally built to accommodate large families all together (up to 15 people) so there is no lack of space. Even though all modern amenities are on sight, the interior design code remained absolutely classic in order to let anyone inside to feel what life in rural Italy has always been about: tranquillity, comfort and serenity.
My name is Lorenzo and I am a young farmer and butcher. I grew up on the seaside but spent a lot of vacations in my family’s country house. After studying in Florence where I got my degree, I decided to give new life to both the house and the land surrounding by starting a farm and a hosting activity. Investing in my own territory was a lifedream came true, so that I can share my love for such a beautiful place as Marks with other people from the rest of Italy and indeed the world.
The house is quite isolate, at the end of a close road, right on the side of the hill. This means that no traffic is passing by except for the resident people. Nevertheless, the nearby town of Rubbianello is just 5 min. away by car or 15/20 min. by walking, and has got any kind of service. A minimarket, butcher shop, bank, post office and some restaurants are some among the comfort you can find.
