Soste Normanne Guest House was transformed from an early 20th-century Liberty-style apartment. All rooms have been recently renovated, maintaining the original architectural features, including painted ceilings, traditional “atappeto” ceramic floors, antique walls, and wooden doors. Each room also showcases unique Sicilian details. Soste Normanne offers several types of rooms: double, triple, and family rooms for up to four guests, as well as facilities for guests with disabilities. Every room is equipped with a private bathroom, air conditioning, a tea set with an electric kettle, a mini-fridge, a safebox, and a TV. In the Guest Lounge, you will find city maps and information. This space can also be used as a coworking area, offering free Wi-Fi and charging outlets, or as a place to meet and chat. Soste Normanne has a private entrance with a small courtyard. Entering through the historic gate, you step into a traditional Sicilian courtyard, a peaceful retreat from the summer heat where you can unwind. The courtyard features tables and chairs in shaded areas for relaxing. Soste Normanne is located on the ground floor, making it easily accessible, even with large suitcases. In addition, we embrace Italian traditions by offering an authentic breakfast: a coffee (cappuccino or coffee of your choice) paired with a fresh cornetto (croissant). It’s the perfect light and classic way to start your day just like a true local!

Soste Normanne is located in the heart of Palermo, just a 5-minute walk from Teatro Massimo, 10 minutes by walk from Teatro Politeama, and Piazza Castelnuovo. It’s a 25-minute walk to Palazzo dei Normanni, Capella Palatina, Palermo Cathedral, as well as the main shopping streets, Vittorio Emanuele and Via Libertà. You’ll also find La Fontana Pretoria and Rinascente nearby. The area is full of supermarkets, restaurants, and pubs, offering plenty of options for dining and drinks. All of Palermo’s major attractions are within walking distance. The area is well connected by public transportation: just 100 meters from Via Roma, where the main bus lines run, and with a direct 101 bus line to Central Station. 10 minuets by walk to the airport bus station Via Villa Ermosa is outside the ZTL (Limited Traffic Zone), so you can easily reach the guest house by car.
