A unique stylish studio flat, 3 min walk to the city walls and 15min walk from the lake! Yet very peaceful, bright, overlooking an interior garden and the hills. Fully renovated in 2024, has everything you need. PLEASE NOTE: It accommodates up to 2 adults + 1 child. There is a King size super comfortable and sturdy sofa bed (160 * 200cm) and one single sofa bed (76 * 190cm) for a child. The single sofa bed is used as sofa when only 2 people, we organise it as bed when we are notified of a child coming :) Perfect for short or long stays - new silent air conditioning unit, jacuzzi bathtub, balcony, dishwasher, newly renovated kitchen, new furniture, new building elevator. Towels, toiletries, hairdryer, iron etc. No smoking inside. Smoking allowed on the balcony only (please keep balcony door shut). This place is not a hotel but an individual's host property - please treat it with respect, as a home :) There are security cameras outside the flat in the common garden and courtyard, there is a porter and the building is inside a gated development with 2 other buildings and small garden. Quiet hours are from 22 to 8.30am. We have free parking in the street in-front (it is a secure area) - no private area/garage. Check-in is until 10pm - if no pre-request sent, we would have to charge an EUR 60 late check-in fee if you just turn up later than 10pm without prior notification (we request 24h notice). I am a busy professional, this is my home that I am using part of the year and renting out the other time. We strive to do our best, we have a regular cleaner between reservations and a slick newly renovated flat but we are not a professional hotel or B&B - so there is no breakfast and whilst we strive to reply as quick as possible, if you have an urgent query - please call us between 8.30 - 20.30 and we will do our best to respond. Como city is much more than just the restaurants stretching along the lake front and the shops in the walled city. To keep it alive and untarnished tourists are encouraged to venture outside the city walls to discover places such as: - the Silk Museum - the Como province was famous for its silk and textile industry - the medieval Castello Baradello, perched up on a hill overlooking the city with a beautiful panorama and enchanting festivals and events - and only a 30 min hike up on the hill - Brunate town - a funicular takes you up to this beautiful spot, on the eastern side of Como town - there are a few restaurants and arts and crafts stalls there and many beautiful hiking trails crossing forests and mountain peaks with stunning views - an old atmospheric cinema in Como Borghi - an exquisite traditional Italian bakery (UI Pan de Com) in Via Milano bassa - excellent restaurants: a unique Brazilian restaurant in Via Teresa Ciceri, an amazing real fondu restaurant, a select Japanese restaurant 3 min walk from our property and many more - please ask us for more details :) - the hiking path for Brunate (a plateau and neighbourhood displaying the main viewing points over Como town and the lake and a lot of hiking routes to peaks nearby) is 10 min walk away.
