Beaches Green Bay Baia Verde Ph. Leonardo D'Angelo South of the "beautiful city", Gallipoli, the beach of Baia Verde, which boasts the 3 "Legambiente" sails, spreads out for three kilometers. The beach, with its thin white sand, alternating bathing establishments with all comforts and free stretches, is reflected in an emerald green sea. The shallow waters near the water's edge are ideal for children's games. The beach is framed by dunes on which, protected by small wooden fences, the Mediterranean scrub blooms. In the south part the beach of Baia Verde ends, just after the two big hotels on the sea, with a small pinewood that connects it to the Pizzo bay. In recent years, moreover, Baia Verde has become the kingdom of nightlife by the sea, thanks to the shores that turn into happy hour bars and nightclubs under the stars.
