Within a few minutes on foot you'll reach the Cathedral of San Martino (one of Tuscany's finest Romanesque churches), Piazza Napoleone, Piazza San Michele in Foro, and Via Fillungo — Lucca's elegant pedestrian shopping street. The famous tree-topped city walls, perfect for cycling and evening walks, are a 5-minute stroll away. Piazza Anfiteatro, built over a Roman amphitheatre and now lined with cafés and restaurants, is equally close.
