Villa Cadenza is a beautiful renovated 200 year old farmhouse, standing proud on a platform of land atop a stunning valley in the Langhe region of Piemonte. The house has been decorated in keeping with its country charm and has all the facilities for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday in the glorious Italian sun. There are 6 bedrooms which can be set up as doubles and twins; two lounges; 4 bathrooms; a utility room and ground floor kitchen dinner. The focus of any holiday at the villa is its great pool with its wide terrace and comfortable furniture. An additional thrill, is the outdoor kitchen which has a large pizza oven, bbq, gas hob, sink and lots of workspace for al fresco cooking with a view. Enjoy the pool, dine outside, go for walks in the stunning valleys around the villa and visit the beautiful villages which dot the area. Lovely Murazzano with its cafes, fantastic restaurants and Friday market, Dogliani with all the shops for your need, Barolo and the best Italian red wines. Hi there, My husband and I have a love affair with Italy!! We’ve been travelling to the country for as long as we can remember and decided to buy a property here in 2011. Another passion of mine is to renovate properties, so we set about spending what turned out to be quite a sum on Villa Cadenza. It was going to be the family home where we would make special memories and have fun in the sun. We had such a blast at the villa with family in the first 3 years, that we decided others should enjoy it when we’re not there. We’ve been hosting guests ever so we and it had been a great please to see so many groups enjoy their holidays at the Villa. In the 60s, a bachelor owned the villa and opening it up to all in the valley for parties at the weekends!! I’ve been told youngsters would descend there every weekend for dancing away the evenings. It’s not surprising therefore that the house has a warm and welcoming vibe!! We love it and the surrounding region which is simply gorgeous!!

The villa is located in the Langhe region which is known in Italy for its gorgeous scenery, the UNESCO listed Barolo vineyards, charming hilltop villages and undulating roads. This is a nature lovers paradise where you can just relax, walk, shop, dine at brilliant restaurants, enjoy the local cuisine, wines and coffee. There are lots of villages with breathtaking views and beautiful churches and castles. Turin with its grand boulevards and palatial squares is a must visit. It it nothing like the motor city you would imagine. Much grander and elegant than Milan, it is just over an hours drive from the villa. The beautiful beaches of Noli, glamorous Genoa and the jewel like Portofino are again just over an hours drive away. Monaco is about 2 hours drive. So there is lots to do further away, but also closer to the villa. There’s a zoo 5 mins above the house, truffle hunting, cheese farm visit, foraging tours, wine tasting all close by.
