Classic, coastal Tuscan villa, 5 minutes drive from the nearest beach, 1 hour drive from Pisa airport. A perfect base to explore Tuscany. * Sleeps 8 people (2 doubles, 1 twin, 1 double/twin) * Spacious living areas inside & out * 4 bedrooms (all with air conditioning) * 3 bathrooms * great WiFi * large, enclosed garden * surrounded by countryside * cooled by sea breezes NB: We have security cameras outside: on the tree by the main gate, by the front door & outside the back kitchen doors.
Hi! My name is Luisa and this house has been in my family for over 50 years! Chiusagrande started life as a traditional Tuscan farmhouse and became a family home after renovations in the early 1970s and further modernisations in the early 1990s. Now a generation has moved on and the younger generation has moved away, it has become a much loved (but de-personalised) holiday home. Villa Chiusagrande is available to rent for longer periods (min 28 days) in the off-season (1st November to 31st March). It is full of character in design and furnishings and like any old, characterful building, it has some minor imperfections!
The house is situated in a rural part of Tuscany between the beach and the hills, a beautiful happy middle for sea-lovers and cyclists! Please note the property is situated in the countryside, some of which is working farmland. There is a railway line 1km away.
