Dating back to the early Middle Ages, Villa Cicolina is now a charming hotel. Featuring fantastic views of the Tuscan countryside, it guarantees personalized service and an unforgettable stay. Close to Montepulciano, this was once the country retreat of a noble family. It features antique furniture, original paintings and ceilings with frescoes. Guests can explore the large, private gardens which lead down to a small church. The garden features a swimming pool with hydro-massage, which is surrounded by olive groves. Villa Cicolina has lots of large open spaces where you can relax with a book. Make sure to visit the wine cellar, home to a large collection of wines and olive oil. Enjoy a delicious 4-course menu at the restaurant, specializing in traditional, Tuscan cuisine. Guest rooms are on the ground, first and second floors. There are also separate rooms which are in cottages and have their own garden. In the lobby there is free Wi-Fi and a free internet point.

We are a husband and wife who worked as doctors for long time, we travelled a lot and we wanted to collect our travel experience with passion to understand and satisfy all our guests' needs. We have an good staff working with us for a long time, not replaceable.

Villa Cicolina is not the regular 5 stars hotel, but we wanted to use a 16th century villa to give an elegant and familiar hospitality which makes you enjoy your Tuscan experience in all of its aspects. You will enjoy this unique Villa with its interiors and exteriors, food, wine and tours in historical cities.

Neighborhood info

Montepulciano, Pienza, Bagno Vignoni, Montalcino, are to die for, don't miss them when you visit Tuscany, lots of activities can be done here; wine tours, cooking experience, biking, hiking, baloon in Tuscany, clay, painting, photography courses, cheese and olive oil tasting, truffle hunting.
