Villa del Prete was built in 1912 and is part of a group of historic residences, called "Ville delle Cenate", located mainly along the road that leads from Nardò to its marina and the hamlets Santa Maria al Bagno and Santa Caterina and is an expression of that nineteenth-century recovery of the most varied styles defined as Eclecticism of which Villa Del Prete represents one of the most successful outcomes.
