Company info

The farm is mainly dedicated to the cultivation of the Tonda Gentile delle Langhe hazelnut, spread across approximately 30,000 square meters of land. Together with my family, we decided to carry on our tradition by transforming the role of my grandfather—the true, old-style “farmer”—into the more modern figure of the agricultural entrepreneur, bringing our wines and our hazelnuts directly from the fields to our guests’ table.

The structure was built around the mid-1700s. In these rooms, my ancestors cultivated silkworms for silk production. In 2013 it was completely renovated, with the goal of preserving the original shape as much as possible and using “simple” materials like those of the past, such as IRON – WOOD – STONE. The walls are entirely plastered with natural hydraulic lime, a material used since the 1300s by the Romans. This material allows the building to “breathe,” creating less humid and healthier environments. The furnishings are a mix of antique and modern, with unique details crafted by artisans from the Langhe region. Outside, the property is surrounded by our hazelnut groves, which frame the 100-sqm pool, perfectly integrated into the landscape. We love our territory, and for this reason, from an energy perspective, we have chosen to use exclusively renewable sources such as solar panels, photovoltaics, and geothermal heat pumps for heating and cooling the rooms and the restaurant area. One of the two parking areas available to guests is equipped with a 20-kW electric vehicle charging station.

The LANGHE, recently declared a UNESCO World Heritage site, are lands rich in exceptional products. Here, the cuisine follows the rhythm of the seasons: autumn brings chestnuts, mushrooms, truffles, and game, while spring begins again with ingredients sourced exclusively from local gardens and nearby farms. Among the typical products of this area, special mention goes to “ROBIOLA DI ROCCAVERANO” and the wines of Loazzolo. The landscape surrounding our property is wonderfully wild, rich in woods and hazelnut groves—breathtaking scenery in every season.
