Nestled in the peaceful Prosecco hills, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Villa Verecondi Scortecci is a historic residence in Colle Umberto, designed to offer guests an authentic, elegant and relaxing stay. The property tells centuries of history: from the ancient medieval tower, built by the Da Camino counts around the year 1000, to the Villa constructed at the end of the 16th century by Scamozzi, a pupil of Palladio, and finally to the 18th-century chapel dedicated to the Madonna della Salute, which is still consecrated today. The historic park, laid out in 1743, surrounds the Villa with a timeless atmosphere of nature, silence and beauty. In 2014, the Villa was entirely restored by Countess Azzolina degli Azzoni Avogadro and her daughter Alvina, with the desire to preserve the historic identity of the residence and transform it into a refined yet welcoming place of hospitality. Guests can stay in carefully furnished suites and apartments, each one different from the others, featuring historic details, elegant interiors and charming views over the park and surrounding landscape. During their stay, guests can relax by the infinity pool, enjoy the heated outdoor jacuzzi and experience the Villa’s outdoor spaces in a private and enchanting setting. Villa Verecondi Scortecci is ideal for those looking for a truly special experience: not just an accommodation, but a historic home where guests can rediscover peace, charm and the pleasure of warm Italian hospitality. The sauna is available for exclusive use at an extra cost. To ensure a pleasant and orderly experience for all guests, consuming personal food and drinks in the outdoor common areas is not permitted. Pets are welcome. Inside the property and in the common areas, they must be kept on a leash. An extra charge applies for stays with pets.
