Named after the beautiful birchwood it overlooks, this brand new three-bedroom chalet has a peaceful and private setting in Soga, a few minutes from Niseko Village Ski Resort, Hokkaido. Featuring stylish and modern interiors in blonde wood, green-facing large windows, spacious bedrooms and elegant open-plan living areas, Birchwood is a great choice for families and friends looking to explore the Niseko region. Winter sports enthusiasts will find idyllic ski conditions and a plethora of fresh powder, while those visiting in the warmer months can enjoy stunning mountain scenery, atmospheric outdoor thermal springs and a host of outdoor pursuits. As per local government of Kutchan, failure to separate garbage correctly is subject to a JPY 5,000 penalty fee per day. Please be advised that we allow children in the chalet, but will be counted as one adult.

Neighborhood info

Birchwood is located on the edge of a forest, a short drive from upmarket Niseko Village Ski Resort, and cosmopolitan Hirafu Village. In summer, a car is recommended as public transport is more limited. In winter, we have a complimentary driver service in the morning and afternoon from 8AM to 6PM (for local journeys to and from Niseko Village and Hirafu Village). We can also help to arrange for a car and driver if needed (subject to extra cost).
