Once you're in, you don't want to leave. Until it's time to put your skis on for another day of skiing in the winter, or for another day of walking, hiking, cycling, or kayaking in the summer. It's a really love little spot, and the longer you're there, the more you like it. It has almost everything one would want, and everything you need to make your holiday a real rest without worry. It's like time out of mind. In the best possible way.
We love skiing and travelling and good food. And though it's not critical, we love comfortable unpretentious cozy accommodation. Which is exactly why we return to Forest Hideaway every year. The best powder in the world. A great opportunity to see different parts of Japan or other countries on our way to Niseko. And food that it's so delicious it's stupendous. We have three kids, and when we're not skiing, eating, or in the nearby onsen, we're just chilling out at home. As a family.
The Soga Forest Neighbourhood is really very special. Unlike Hirafu and other parts of Niseko, you hardly know there's anyone there. So the quiet is incredible. And for kids it's a dream. There is very little traffic and so kids can play outside in the snow for hours. The trees are gorgeous to watch, and the light is really beautiful when the sun's out. For us, its a place we never want to leave. And we're pretty sure you'll feel the same way.
