We have renovated a historic 100-year-old house located in a rural town by the naturally abundant seaside, preserving its old charm while ensuring a more comfortable stay for our guests. Featuring four traditional Japanese tatami rooms, a spacious living area with hardwood flooring, and a dining kitchen, our space provides a luxurious environment for you to relax and unwind. Surrounded by quaint old houses that seem frozen in time, the area exudes a nostalgic charm. In May, the mountain oranges bloom in unison, filling the air with their sweet fragrance. During summer, while the beach near the guesthouse is delightful, we recommend visiting Heda Beach, just a 30-minute drive away. Additionally, you can reach the beaches of Nishi-Izu and Minami-Izu within an hour's drive. Regardless of the season, on clear days, you can enjoy breathtaking views of Mount Fuji across the sea just a 30-second walk away. With a car, you can easily explore various destinations within an hour to an hour and a half from the guesthouse, including places like Hakone and Lake Yamanaka in the direction of Mount Fuji. ※ For guests coming from abroad, renting a car is essential. Stations, restaurants, and supermarkets are all quite far from the guesthouse. There is only one bus per hour, and taxis are not available. Renting a car allows you to fully enjoy the beauty of Izu's nature. ※ Please note that this facility is a 100-year-old traditional Japanese house. Due to its structure, walls and windows are thin, making it prone to sound leakage. Although this is mentioned in our house rules, we kindly ask for your cooperation in keeping noise levels to a minimum after 10 PM. Especially when accommodating a large group, we may receive complaints from neighbors. We operate this facility with the cooperation of our neighbors. As it is located in a rural residential area, we ask for mutual respect for each other's manners to maintain a comfortable environment.
