Hello! I’m Nicholas (from California), and my wife Hitomi is from Goto. We met while traveling the world together and, after visiting over 25 countries, decided that Goto was the place we wanted to call home. Now, instead of traveling, we love welcoming guests from around the world and sharing the island we love. We both enjoy the ocean and outdoors, and we also work locally as SUP and kayak guides at Ohama Beach. About 10 years ago, we even cycled from Tokyo to Goto—a journey that helped us realize how special this place truly is. We live just a few minutes away, so we’re always happy to help with local recommendations or anything you may need during your stay.

Ohama is a peaceful coastal neighborhood just 10 minutes from the airport and 15 minutes from Fukue Port. Guests love the area for its: • Beautiful Ohama Beach (2-minute walk) • Quiet fishing village atmosphere • Scenic coastal walks • Local parks like Kozaki Park This area offers a more authentic and relaxed island experience compared to the downtown area. While there are a few cafes nearby within cycling distance, restaurants and supermarkets are best accessed by car. For convenience, we offer rental cars for our guests so you can comfortably explore the island. Whether you’re enjoying a morning walk by the ocean, a swim at the beach, or a BBQ in the garden, Ohama is the perfect place to slow down and experience Goto at your own pace.
