I live near Ritsurin Garden. My hobbies include spending quality time with my family, reading, and visiting shrines. Lately, I’ve also been really into wipe-cleaning (keeping things spotless!) and stretching. My family consists of my wife, our 13-year-old daughter, our 10-year-old son, two Javan sparrows, and one canary. To better connect with our guests, my family recently started taking English conversation lessons. We’re also practicing Chinese greetings on YouTube! By profession, I am a carpenter. I also craft furniture, which led me to participate as an artist in the very first Setouchi Triennale, where I exhibited my work on Ogijima Island. I host three different accommodations: • Family Inn Shikoku Tour - Takamatsu Station • Family Inn Shikoku Tour - Motoyama (Takamatsu Chuo IC) • INARI Guest House (Ritsurin Garden) Additionally, I have been actively volunteering in immigration and relocation support since the Great East Japan Earthquake. If you are considering moving to the area, please feel free to reach out—I’d love to help however I can. Traveling solo in South Korea when I was younger is a lifelong memory of mine. I am still deeply grateful to the kind Korean people who helped me back then. More recently, interacting with so many wonderful guests from Taiwan has inspired us to plan a family trip there soon!
