[Kamakura Cozy House] Private Studio & Great Scenery Kamakura is one of the most famous places in Japan for its history. And there's a lot to see and do around the Jomyoji area, such as Hokuokuji Temple, which is known for its bamboo garden, and Sugimoto Temple. We have a newly renovated private room of an old house in Kamakura. You can see Mt. Kinubari from the terrace. You might also see squirrels, raccoons, and various wild birds in the garden from time to time. Enjoy this cozy and relaxing space that blends in with nature to the fullest. This room has a fully independent entrance to the rest of the house and has a private bathroom, kitchen, and terrace. The room has been renovated in a modern style from an old private house in the ancient capital of Kamakura. And you can stay in the room with up to two adults (and up to two kids in bed with you). Please let us know in advance if kids will accompany you. A living/dining room has a double bed and a semi-double bed (usually set up as a sofa), a bathroom, and a kitchen sink. The room is fully equipped with kitchen supplies and WiFi, making it a great place for families, friends, and couples to spend time together. (One small dog (under 10kg) is accepted with the additional fee)
Hello, my name is Seiji. I truly love the lifestyle in Kamakura, where nature and city life are beautifully balanced, and I feel grateful to welcome guests here. On my days off, I enjoy hiking or taking walks with my dog along the mountains and the seaside. Kamakura offers the best of both worlds — surrounded by nature yet still easily accessible from central Tokyo. To me, it’s the “perfect in-between.” When you visit, I’d love for you to experience Kamakura not only as a sightseeing destination but also as if you were living here. I’m happy to recommend local hiking trails, cozy cafés, and restaurants loved by the community. And if you’re a dog lover, you’re more than welcome to play with my dog too!
