90 YEARS JAPANESE RUSTIC HOUSE COMPLETELY REFORMED WITH 4 BEDROOMS IS LOCATED IN A BEAUTIFUL AREA400m.lm 15 MINUTES ON FOOT FROM KUMANO KODO TRIAL(NEJIKINO-SUGI)SURROUNDED BY VINEYARD AND A FANTASTIC PANORAMA ON MOUNTAINS AND THE OCEAN. IF REQUIRED WE SERVE BREAKFAST, LUNCH AND DINNER MADE BY CHEF GIOVANNI WITH OUR PRODUCTS (included eggs from our hens) AND THE BEST INGREDIENTS FROM KUMANO. WE MAKE EVERYDAY FRESH CHEESE FROM OUR GOATS `S MILK.
We are a Italian-Japanese family, I am a professional Chef with many years of experience in top restaurants. We decided to live in this area to enjoy farming, nature and food. We would like to share with you our lifestyle and if you would like to cook together we will enjoy. We grow our vegetables, we have hens for eggs, and goats for fresh milk and cheeses.
beautiful area on mountain very close to Kumano Kodo. Ueno is a old village of farmers , famous for ume (Japanese plum), for satoimo (mountain potato), sanshio . The old name of village was Bagano is meaning the village of horses because in the past the Emperor was keeping his horses in this place to go through Kumano Kodo. Our dream is to bring horses back in this place and riding in Kumano Kodo again .
