"Liminal" is a small hotel in the Nagisa-cho district of Atami, created by renovating individual units within a vintage building situated in the space between the sea and the bustling town center. True to its name—meaning "threshold" or "boundary"—it is a place to savor the shifting nuances where the everyday meets the extraordinary, the Showa era blends with the present, and the ocean merges with the town.
It is just a 1–2 minute walk to the seaside (Atami Shinsui Park and Sun Beach area) and a 5-minute walk to the Atami Ginza Shopping Street. With a convenience store 3 minutes away and a supermarket 2 minutes away, the location is convenient even for those staying without meals included.
The room offers a spacious setting for two, with a maximum capacity of four guests. Units 301 and 302 are adjacent rooms on the third floor; booking both units together makes them suitable for groups or families.
