From ancient times, there were already many colors appreciated by Japanese. They were used in textile or traditional japanese arts. These rich colors from nature (flowers, sea, birds ...) have had a significant role in the popularity of Japanese culture around the world. Now, we would like to promote the culture of Shizuoka prefecture and Mochimune by transmitting it to future generations. This is the reason why we opened NIHON IRO Hotel and traditional Japanese houses as vacation homes. Its theme is the traditional colors of Japan, so we hope you will enjoy this place made just for you.

NIHON IRO Vacation Homes are located in Mochimune Town, one of the BEST place to observe MT FUJI! Enjoy our traditional houses made just for you. At NIHON IRO, you are welcome whatever your nationality, culture, religion or lifestyle is. Our staff can speak various languages (English, French, Chinese, Indonesian...). So please feel free to ask us anything about tourism in the area and how to explore Mochimune or Shizuoka city's downtown. We have also many things to tell you about Shirasu fish (local speciality) or how you can find great cafes with the best green tea of Shizuoka. We can also help you finding some relaxing natural hot springs. Looking forward to seeing you soon.

Neighborhood info

Mochimune has a beautiful sea front with a fishing port, and a nostalgic cityscape behind the alley. If you look up, you can see the magnificent South Alps that shines in the clear sky but also the world famous Mt. Fuji. The Izu Peninsula can be seen beyond the sea. Let's forget the hustle and bustle of your day and take time to relax surrounded by the kindness of nature.
