◼︎Rooms: A quiet boutique stay for one group per night. The 3rd floor is the owner’s residence, and the entrance and staircase are shared. You will rarely encounter the owner during your stay. ◼︎ About the Property: Originally built about 50 years ago, this house has been renovated in a refined Japanese modern style. Antique elements, including lattice sliding screens and a Kura-style door, are incorporated throughout the space. ◼︎Layout: The 1st floor features a spacious L-shaped counter, private shower room, bathroom, and compact kitchenette. Upstairs, the tatami room and Western-style bedroom can be used separately or opened into one connected space. ◼︎One more thing: Jasmine tea is served at check-in, and complimentary coffee and snacks are available throughout your stay.
◼︎Oost Knoll is a boutique stay run by a Kanazawa-born owner. After working at hotels in both Kanazawa and Amsterdam, the owner returned from the Netherlands to open this place. Guests are welcome to ask for local recommendations or information about the area.
◼︎Kenrokuen Garden, the 21st Century Museum, and Omicho Market are within walking distance or accessible by the Kanazawa Loop Bus. Downtown Katamachi is about a 10-minute walk.
